臨床起點是成大醫院的神經科與急性精神科病房。那幾年的經驗留下兩個問題：照護的判斷可以更有依據嗎？病人與家屬的心理處境能不能被好好接住？後來的研究都繞著這兩題走——碩士做伴侶共同介入的統合分析，博士追蹤乳癌女性的飲食與憂鬱，並在美國喬治城大學 Lombardi 癌症中心完成一年研究實習；近年則在臺北醫學大學參與健康資訊與大型語言模型的研究，把資料科學帶回護理。Practice began on the neurology and acute psychiatric wards of NCKU Hospital, and left two questions: can care decisions rest on better evidence, and can the psychological situation of patients and families be properly held? Everything since has circled those two — a master's meta-analysis of couple-based interventions, a doctorate following diet and depression among women with breast cancer, a year of research at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University, and more recently health informatics and large language models at Taipei Medical University.

Undergraduate, master's, doctoral and overseas students are all welcome, as are students from computer science and data science — smart care needs both a clinical and a technical language. No statistics or programming needed beforehand, only a willingness to learn by doing.
